Zachariah Payne - Fight & Intimacy Director

Zachariah Payne (he.him.his.) is an Intimacy Professional and Fight Director working since 2016, previously in Chicago now based in Los Angeles. He teaches at Stella Alder Academy of Acting. As a teacher, he trains actors in consent, stage combat, and intimacy for theatre and film to youth and adults. Other credits include NBCUniversal’s Gaslit, Jeff Award-Nominated First Love Is the Revolution (Steep Theatre) The Wolf Play (Gift Theatre), Herland (Redtwist), Spring Awakening and Blackbird (Blank Theatre), Twelfth Night, Or What You Will (Writer’s Theatre), Cabaret (Paramount Theatre), In the Next Room...Or the Vibrator Play (Timeline Theatre), Women Laughing Alone With Salad (Theatre Wit), Burials (Steppenwolf for Young Audiences), and many more. He is a certified Advanced Actor Combatant with Fight Directors Canada, and he is certified in Mental Health First Aid.
